Our practice nurses work in the surgery seeing patients at similar times to the doctors. They assist in all aspects of practice work and are responsible for running the disease management clinics.
Phlebotomists
Elaine Drake and Louise Spencer
They are qualified phlebotomists and hold clinics for taking blood samples and blood pressures each morning Monday to Friday.

Health Visitors

The health visitor is involved in the promotion of good health, particularly in children under 5 years of age.  She gives advice and support to new mothers, and those experiencing problems and monitors children's growth and development.  The health visitor works within the community and liaises closely with our doctors.  If you need to ring the health visitor she can be contacted on: 01274 594991 during weekdays. 

Community Nurses

The district nurses are bases at Cliffe Avenue Clinic, they work mainly in the community, caring for patients who are unable to attend the surgery.  They also provide palliative and terminal care for patients in there own home.  They can be contacted on: 01274 531491

Community Midwives

The midwife provides care for pregnant women at our antenatal clinics and mothers with new born babies at home.  Antenatal clinics are held in the practice.

Practice Pharmacist

Our practice pharmacist works for Bradford and Airedale Teaching Primary Care Trust carrying out medication reviews and other projects on medicine management.  She works very closely with the doctors.  If you have any queries about your medicines you can contact her by telephoning the reception team who will arrange this for you.
